Enjoy a wonderful, relaxing vacation in our cozy, comfortably furnished vacation apartments or in our bright, spacious guest room with a double bed. All units feature balconies on different levels. Parking spaces and a garage are available for an additional fee. In the summer, a barbecue pit, an outdoor seating area with a parasol, and a gazebo are available. We offer Wi-Fi internet access in all rooms. Our house is about 40 meters from the bike path and the trailhead for the premium hiking trail “Traumpfad Monrealer Ritterschlag.” Just about 100 meters away, a beautiful mixed forest invites you to take a stroll. Our house is about 250 m from the historic center of Monreal, with its beautiful half-timbered houses that provide a magnificent backdrop along the Elz stream, the late-Gothic church, and the medieval stone bridges. The two castles (Phillipsburg and Löwenburg, the latter of which can be climbed) are visible from afar and tower high above the old town center. Monreal’s dining options include 2 restaurants, 2 cafes, and a bakery (open only on Saturday mornings). There are many walking and hiking trails here in Monreal: the Karbachweg, the Eifelkamino, the Way of St. James, seven IVV hiking trails, the Eifel Dream Trails, and the Elz Valley Hiking Trail leading to the Moselle. We can also provide maps for these trails at our location. In the nearby surrounding area, you’ll find the charming shopping town of Mayen, home to Genovevaburg Castle, the Eifel Museum, and Bürresheim Castle. Lake Laach and the Maria Laach Monastery are 20 km away. Eltz Castle, which has never been destroyed, is 28 km away (Wierschem parking lot). You’ll also find the Volcano Park with its lava dome, the Wingertsberg cliff near Mendig, and the Meurin visitor mine in Kretz. Also nearby, you’ll find the Nürburgring, the Ahr River, the Moselle River, the Rhine near Koblenz, the maars near Daun, Meerfeld, and Gillenfeld—including the lava bomb in Strohn. Hikers, cyclists, and motorcyclists are also warmly welcome and always appreciated. Pets are not allowed.

Enjoy a relaxing stay at my "Waldblick" vacation rental in the beautiful Eifel village of Langenfeld. A dream for hikers! Our holiday apartments are situated at the edge of the picturesque village of Monreal with it’s two castle ruins, right at the hiking trail „Monrealer Ritterschlag“ („accolade of Monreal“). In this peaceful location you will discover beautiful apartments with high quality equipment, which were furnished with loving attention to the detail. The three holiday apartments „Walkmühle“ (“fulling mill”) are equipped in different ways. 2, 3 and 4 stars, awarded in the classification of the German tourism association (Deutscher Tourismusverband DTV), guarantee a high standard of quality. In all three holiday apartments we provide accomodations for one to ten people.

Our house, named "Marianne," consists of 4 apartments with a fitness and wellness area, and a large garden. You will find the house in the small charming village of Langscheid in the volcanic East Eifel, near Nürburgring, situated at an altitude of 550 m. Langscheid is a state-recognized resort and is located in the middle of the uniquely beautiful juniper heath. Description: HausAcht, including KleinHausAcht (both units) HausAcht (a cozy guesthouse from the 1960s) has been operating as a modern conference and recreation center for nearly 20 years. In 2016, the KleinHausAcht was added as a barrier-free extension. As a group retreat, the facility can accommodate up to 35 guests who can use the space in a variety of ways.Under the motto “A whole house to enjoy,” the property is available to children’s and youth groups, “extended families,” and working groups, as well as hiking groups, motorcycle groups, and company outings. HausAcht is rented out to only one group at a time, which has exclusive use of all rooms. The large kitchen (which can be used for self-catering) and 4 common rooms (including a rustic bar area) offer plenty of flexibility for planning activities. 11 bedrooms (almost all with showers and toilets) for 31 guests provide a comfortable level of privacy. The group house can accommodate up to 31 people. For groups of 32 or more, the KleinHausAcht (annex) is automatically included in the rental. Upon request, a smaller group can also be split between the group house and the KleinHausAcht (annex). You can discuss this with your host. The accessible KleinHausAcht can be rented as part of the package. This annex, located on the same level as the common areas of HausAcht, offers 2 additional bedrooms for 4 guests, an entryway with a kitchenette, and a large bathroom with accessible amenities. It can accommodate up to 3 wheelchair users.
