Dormant volcanoes, a bubbling geyser and the ancient Romans
They all help shape the Volcano Park in the Mayen-Koblenz district, a region that brings its 600,000-year-old history to life. Five exciting museums and two visitor mines, 16 natural, cultural and industrial landmarks, as well as stunning biking and hiking trails stretching from Andernach on the Rhine through the Eifel town of Mayen and into the Vordereifel make up the Volcano Park, with Lake Laach at its center.
