Our tour begins at the Wabelsberg Juniper Hut and leads through the distinctive juniper heathland surrounding the Wabelsberg—with magnificent views of the Eastern Eifel. On the plateau, we pass the striking Eifel cathedral of St. Quirinus and hike along forest and meadow trails to the Büschberg, which is the perfect spot for a short break.We then continue through varied forest sections, past the turnoff to the “Traumpfad Bergheidenweg” trail, and down into the idyllic Nettetal valley. A final ascent through the beech forest brings us back to the Wacholderhütte, completing a compact, varied loop trail with typical Eifel charm. This singles hike is aimed at anyone who enjoys being active, appreciates nature, and would like to meet new, friendly people. In a relaxed atmosphere, we’ll explore the surroundings together, enjoy the scenery, and leave the daily grind behind. Along the way, we’ll take several breaks to enjoy a packed lunch—feel free to bring something you’d like to eat during the hike.

Together, we’ll explore the “Wacholder” Dream Trail. After the hike, we’ll wrap up the day together at a cozy local restaurant.
