On Sunday, 2 November 2025, at 12.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., the miners' hut at the Bendisberg visitor mine invites you to a pig slaughter festival!

The hearty ‘all you can eat buffet’ offers everything your heart desires:
- Hearty mashed potatoes with sauerkraut
- Potatoes
- Small homemade blood and liver sausages
- Juicy smoked pork loin
- Hearty small knuckles
- Mettwurst sausages

For a sweet finish, there is red fruit jelly with vanilla sauce.
