I cordially invite you to a guided herb walk on the Monreal Castle Mountain. Together, we will discover the fascinating variety of local flora and learn about wild plants that have been growing here for centuries. I will provide knowledge about their current and past uses - as medicinal, dye, or magical plants and as food.
The Monreal Castle Mountain is an ecologically highly interesting, protected biotope with an exceptionally diverse plant life. Some of the plants are protected by law, while others played an important role in the daily lives of people, particularly in times of need. Much of this knowledge has been lost with the increasing alienation from nature, but is now being rediscovered by people who care about sustainable management of our natural resources.
The focus of the tour is on conscious perception, recognition, and understanding of wild herbs in their natural habitat.
To conclude, we will wrap up the walk in a relaxed atmosphere in the former castle garden - with homemade herbal lemonade and a small herbal snack.

Important notes:
The terrain is steep and requires good physical fitness. Sturdy footwear is recommended, and trekking poles can be helpful. Unfortunately, dogs cannot be brought along.
